For more than three decades, the Fallbrook Food Pantry has been helping ensure that individuals and families in our community have access to something everyone deserves: nutritious food.
Since 1991, the organization has served as a vital resource for people experiencing food insecurity in Fallbrook and the surrounding communities. But its mission goes beyond simply providing groceries. The Pantry works to support neighbors with compassion, dignity and respect, while helping create a healthier and more connected community.
Making a Difference, One Family at a Time
The impact of the Fallbrook Food Pantry is remarkable. According to the organization, it has distributed approximately 1.4 million pounds of food, served more than 30,000 households, and currently helps 900+ families each week. Volunteers are an essential part of that effort, contributing more than 10,600 hours to support the Pantry and its programs.
Families who visit the Pantry can receive a variety of nutritious foods, including fresh produce, dairy products, proteins and pantry staples.
More Than a Food Pantry
One of the things that makes the Fallbrook Food Pantry such an important community resource is the variety of programs it provides.
In addition to weekly food distribution, the Pantry offers senior nutrition services, wellness education, nutrition-focused workshops, community activities and special events. It also connects people with additional resources that can support their long-term health and well-being.
At the heart of all these programs is a simple but powerful vision: a community where hunger no longer causes pain and suffering and everyone has access to adequate, nutritious food.
It Takes a Community
The Pantry’s work is made possible through the generosity of volunteers, donors, local organizations and community partners. Its partners and supporters include organizations such as Feeding San Diego, the San Diego Food Bank, Fallbrook Regional Health District, Albertsons Foundation and several charitable foundations and trusts.
There are many ways members of our community can help. You can donate funds, volunteer your time, participate in community food drives or simply help spread the word about the services available to our neighbors.
Every contribution—whether it’s food, financial support or a few hours of someone’s time—helps put nutritious food on another family’s table.
